The Bay State has been a mainstay in the top 10 solar states for years now, and it looks like it will cement its position there in 2015 as well.
As of now, Massachusetts is home to about 580 MW of total solar generation, and that number is expected to rise even further. If this pace continues, the state will certainly exceed former governor Deval Patrick’s goal of 1,600 MW of solar installed by 2020.
Customer-friendly state incentive programs, flexible financing options, and lower prices have made solar a powerful option for Bay Staters who want to lower their energy bills, and it looks like more of the same going forward.
