FREEHOLD, NJ - In the first quarter of 2011, the top seven states in the U.S. comprised 88% of the total U.S. solar market installations. New Jersey is second only to California, having more than 11,000 systems in operation. New Jersey Governor Chris Christie hailed "This ground-breaking achievement is the latest example of New Jersey's leadership as one of the largest and fastest growing solar energy markets in the United States."
